Dr. Richmond J. Ramirez is the owner and medical director of Kutis Medical Aesthetics and a family physician with more than 20 years of medical experience. Having trained and worked in the field of aesthetics for more than seven years, he specializes in state-of-the-art noninvasive procedures, such as wrinkle relaxer injections, dermal fillers, and a variety of laser treatments. He is also board-certified in obesity medicine and clinical lipidilogy, giving him unique insight into the challenges patients face when trying to lose weight and the strategies that can help them achieve their goals.
Dr. Ramirez earned his medical degree from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine. He continued to work as a general practitioner before coming to the U.S. to complete his family medicine residency training at PennState Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. Over the years, he has held a number of primary care and medical director roles around the country.
In addition to his medical experience, Dr. Ramirez is currently working on his Executive Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Nevada in Las Vegas. He also has worked in several research, teaching, and writing jobs during his medical career, earning the Faculty of the Year Award from the Kent Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program in 2019.
Dr. Ramirez is fully licensed to practice medicine in the states of Nevada, California, and Rhode Island. In addition to being a fellow at the American Academy of Family Physicians, he is a diplomate of the American Board of Clinical Lipidology, as well as the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Dr. Ramirez obtained his medical aesthetics training with Empire Medical Training starting in 2017. Dr. Ramirez to this day continues his aesthetics training with various industry leaders.
A native of the Philippines, Dr. Ramirez is fluent in English, Tagalog, and Medical Spanish, allowing him to better serve a broader population of Henderson, NV patients.
